ActionPower Warranty Policy
1. Each ActionPower hardware product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. The warranty period is controlled by the documents furnished with each product and begins on the date of shipment to the end customer. Parts and product repairs are warranted for 365 days. This warranty does not apply to fuses, disposable batteries, or to any product which, in ActionPower’s opinion, has been misused, altered, neglected, or damaged by accident or abnormal conditions of operation or handling, or has been repaired, maintained, or otherwise serviced by anyone other than ActionPower or an ActionPower-authorized service provider. ActionPower warrants that software will operate substantially in accordance with its functional specifications for 365 days from shipment and that it has been properly recorded on non-defective media. ActionPower does not warrant that software will be error-free or operate without interruption. ActionPower authorized distributor/resellers have no authority to extend greater or different warranties on behalf of ActionPower.
2. The above warranties extend only to the original end customer of an ActionPower authorized distributor/reseller. Warranty support can be obtained only in the country of the original purchase.
ActionPower reserves the right to charge the end customer the costs of importation and re-export, repair service, and replacement parts when a product purchased in one country is submitted for repair in another country.
3. ActionPower’s warranty obligation is limited, at ActionPower’s option, to refund of the purchase price, free of charge repair, or replacement of a defective product returned within the warranty period. To obtain warranty service, the end customer should contact the nearest ActionPower service center in the country of purchase and, if advised by the ActionPower service center, the product, with a description of the difficulty and the mention of the return authorization number issued by the ActionPower service center, postage, insurance, and other return costs prepaid by the end customer (unless the ActionPower Service Center has advised that the product can be collected), should be sent to such an ActionPower service center. ActionPower assumes no risk for damage in transit. Following warranty repair or replacement, the product will be returned to the end customer, transportation prepaid. If ActionPower determines that the failure was caused by misuse, alteration, accident, or abnormal condition of operation or handling, ActionPower will provide an estimate of repair costs and obtain authorization before commencing the work. Following repair, the product will be returned to the end customer, transportation prepaid, and the end customer will be billed for the repair and return transportation charges.
4. To the full extent possible under applicable law, the above warranties are in lieu of all other warranties in relation to the products. To the full extent possible under applicable law, ActionPower, its affiliates, and vendors disclaim any implied warranties in relation to the products, including, without limitation, warranties as to satisfactory quality, merchantability, or fitness for purpose or their equivalents in any jurisdiction.
